UPDATE: Jarryd Hayne has taken to social media to slam media reports that he wants out of the Gold Coast Titans to return to Sydney.
The star fullback, who is on tour with Fiji for the Rugby League World Cup, denied the claims on Twitter on Thursday.
The Titans have also rubbished the reports, claiming there has been no application made for Jarryd to be released from his contract, and expect him to return for pre-season training after Christmas.
EARLIER: Shocking reports have surfaced that Jarryd Hayne wants to quit the Titans before the 2018 season.
News Corp reported on Thursday that the Gold Coast star's agent Wayne Beavis has informed the club he is looking for opportunities elsewhere.
It is believed to be related to personal issues, with talk Hayne wants to move back to Sydney after his duties with Fiji at the Rugby League World Cup.
Titans officials have reportedly told his agent that Hayne is expected back for pre-season training in January, after agreeing to the second year of his multi-million dollar contact.
