Public called on to identify crook

Police release footage of servo robbery

Detectives are hoping members of the public can help identify a man caught on security camera robbing a Brisbane service station.

The man, wearing a black polo-shirt, jeans and a red cap, can be seen in the CCTV footage entering the Mt Gravatt store just before midnight on Monday.

He then pulled a knife out and looked to be making threats before the worker handed the cash over.

Police believe the offender's also behind another armed robbery of a service station in Beenleigh, just hours earlier.

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
