Three people have been taken to hospital after a house fire in Oxenford.
Fire fighters were called to a home on Cobb and Co Drive COBB at 6:20 on Thursday, to find the whole 2-storey house was thick with smoke.
It was issuing from a small fire in the garage.
The flames were extinguished pretty quickly, but crews remained on the scene for a while to ventilate the garage and home.
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 50s both suffered smoke inhalation, while another man in his 80s has burns to his feet.
They were all transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Fire investigators were called to the scene to try and work out the cause of the blaze.
