The signing of Brian Kelly has been confirmed by the Gold Coast Titans today, who has been granted a release from the Manly Sea Eagles.
The 22-year-old centre was expected to return to the club where he played 54 NYC games, scoring 35 tries.
He was poached by Manly and made his NRL debut in round one of season 2017, playing 47 games.
Head coach Garth Brennan told Titans Media he was expected to work with the Ballina junior.
"Brian is another local coming home and it is great to see a player of his calibre return to the club where he made a name for himself," Brennan said.
"He showed plenty of promise coming through the ranks here at the Titans and continued his rise down in Sydney."
He will help fill the void left by Konrad Hurrell, who left to play for Leeds Rhinos in the English Super League.
It's added some serious competition for the centre and wings spots in 2019, with the likes of Kelly, Tyrone Peachey, Dale Copley, Brenko Lee, Anthony Don and Phillip Sami fighting for positions.
