A 29-year-old man is still fighting for life in hospital after a sickening road rage attack in Yatala.
Brock Prime was allegedly beaten up on the side of the M1 on Saturday night, after pulling over to confront a van-load of people following a near collision.
Police claim Brock's Subaru Forester station wagon and a Toyota HiAce had a near miss at Coomera around 9:30pm, and began playing a game of cat-and-mouse on the road, swerving and tailgating each other before finally pulling over at Yatala.
Brock suffered serious head injuries in the alleged attack, with up to 13 people reportedly involved.
He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, while his passenger wasn't hurt.
Two men have been arrested overnight, each charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
The 26-year-old from Surfers Paradise and 27-year-old from Ormeau will both face court in Beenleigh today.
Investigators are still looking for the other people involved, and Brock's family has also made a plea for witnesses.
"My dad passed away five weeks ago and my brother Brock was working 10-hour days, 6 days a week just to put a roof over our heads and dinner on the table, so we'd greatly appreciate it if anyone has any information that they could bring forward to us," his sister said.
Detectives have called for anyone with dash cam footage taken in the vicinity of the M1 between Pimpama and Yatala from between 9:30 and 10pm to get in touch.
