Woman hurt in Coomera home invasion

A woman has been attacked during an alleged home invasion on the Gold Coast.

Two men apparently burst into the house on Gunther St, Coomera around 11:30 on Sunday night and demanded the victim hand over her jewellery and car keys.

The 30-year-old woman told police she was punched in the face when she didn't do what they asked straight away.

She was later treated by paramedics at the scene, after the men took a vehicle from the residence and fled.

Police said on Monday morning that they believed the incident was a targeted one, and that the victim knew her attackers.
