In the penultimate round of GFL Action, Kalgoorlie City and Kambalda travelled to Leonora for a Saturday afternoon, while Railways hosted the Diorites at Sir Richard Moore Sports Arena.
Kalgoorlie league team produced 53 scoring shots against Kambalda, with Darren Coyle and Ryan McDonald scoring four goals. However injuries to Brad Dick and Alex Stewart for the Roos may hinder their depth come finals. In the other League game Railways produced a hard fought win over Mines after getting the jump on the Diorites in the first quarter heading in to the first break with a 33 point lead, Jay Collard produced 4 for the Diorites while Salmon, Booy and Hawkins had 2 for Railways.
