Police from Goldfields Esperance District joined by Officers from the Specialist State Crime have been involved in a number of raids across the district targeting the sell and supply of methylamphetamine and illcit drugs in Kalgoorlie Boulder, Esperance and Kambalda

18 people charged with the sale or supply of methylamphetamine and a further 25 people
charged with other drug and property related offences;
- 250 grams of methylamphetamine seized;
- $10,700 in cash seized;
- Quantities of other drugs seized, including 15 grams of MDMA, 373 grams of cannabis, 15
grams of oxymetholone and one gram of cocaine.
- Weapons seized, including a firearm, six prohibited weapons including an electronic stun
device, crossbow and knives, as well a large quantity of ammunition.
- 15 ounces of processed gold as well as approximately one tonne of unprocessed gold bearing
ore was seized.
- $5000 worth of stolen goods was recovered.

Inspector Denise Ramsay also wanted to thank the community for ongoing efforts in helping make the Goldfields a better place. "Our Community is not immune from the effects of methylamphetamine and we do encourage everyone to come forward and help us in our efforts. We thank the community for their efforts to date and we look forward to their continued help in the future"
