There is no cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer Stage Four......

However there is some great work being done in the field by Professor Arlene Chen. Ladies who were given 33 months to live, are now getting more than 10 years! It is this work that is driving a group of Goldfields Ladies to raise funds for Western Australian's to have access and increase trials.

Locals Gai Robinson, Katrina Tedge and their band of organisers are putting a fundraiser together to support this and help get more ladies involved in trials. Gai - who has Metastatic Breast Cancer Stage Four, has taken a proactive role and been an inspiration to many with her attitude and zest including Katrina. While both ladies have also donated to the Helen Sewell Tumour Bank, where they have had samples of Breast Cancer tissue taken and stored for research at a later date.

Hear Katrina with Glenney from Triple M Goldfields discuss the fundraiser and the work being done on Breast Cancer Research

The "Something Pink" Breast Cancer Fundraiser is July 15th at the Hannans Club from 6pm.

Can`t make it to the night? Here is where you can donate directly!
