Greater Shepparton Commemorates The Centenary Of The Armistice

Greater Shepparton City Council will be holding a Remembrance Day service this Sunday, November 11 marking the 100th year anniversary of the Armistice.

Shepparton's RSL Sub Brand will be holding a special service to pay respects to the lives of those who fought in World War One and their families.

The three-volley salute (gun shots) will commence at 10:59am with the one minute silence to follow at 11am. The three shots fired will be in honour of the guns falling silent on the Western Front 100 years ago. 

The service is open for all members of the public.
