A Richmond fan at the MCG on Friday night found himself in the hands of the St Johns ambulance team after punching the air too hard.
Tiger supporter Mick popped his shoulder out in the third term.
“I threw my arm up in the air like one of those Rocky punches,” Mick said on Triple M's Hot Breakfast.
Mick said he had to go and find emergency services to get the shoulder back in place.
“We got down there and the bloke said 'we’ll have to take you to hospital'," Mick said.
“I said ‘why can’t you put it back in here’ and he said ‘by law we’re not allowed too’,
“I said ‘Well mate, either it goes in here or we’re going no where. I’m going back out there for the last’.”
Mick said that miraculously the should popped back in by itself before the fourth quarter started.
“A few beers and we’re all good.”
