Police have launched an investigation after 10 houseboats were destroyed by a blaze at the Perricoota Marina, in Moama.

Millions of dollars’ worth of floating accommodation now lays in ruin.

Fire crews and boat owners were quick enough to cut mooring lines for 10 nearby boats - which drifted into the river - at a safe distance from the fireball.
