A 4-year-old girl's been rushed to hospital, after she was run over in the Aldi car park in Shepparton.

She was walking behind her dad at the Wyndham Street lot at around 4:15 pm, when she was struck by a car that was pulling in.

The driver, a 49-year-old Keilor East man immediately stopped - and is assisting police with enquiries.

The Murray Electorate's joined the majority of Australia, in voting in favour of same-sex marriage.

Nationals MP Damian Drum says he thought Murray would be line-ball - and he'll push for the legislation to be passed by Christmas - with protections included.

The magazine says upon accepting the award, the rapper urged all Australian to look at the indigenous community in their own backyard, when dishing out equality.

Two new solar bins have been installed at Shepparton Sports City.

 

A solar panel powers an internal compactor for both outlets, helping to smoosh down items that are headed to either landfill or a recycling plant, allowing the bins to accept 8 times the normal amount of waste.

IN Round 6 of the Country Basketball League - both Shepparton and Echuca have the weekend off.

 

The Wallan Panthers play a double header of home matches this weekend.
