This November FORM’s PUBLIC Silo Trail stops off at Katanning, lighting up a series of Western Power electrical transformer boxes and walls in the city centre with murals by prominent Western Australian artists. From the 2nd to the 7th of November street artists Brenton See, Chris Nixon, Darren Hutchens and Mel McVee will create a series of murals throughout town.

They have already done a number of projects around regional WA with the last big task of painting silos in Merriden.

The artists will be joined by visiting international light calligrapher Karim Jabbari, who will facilitate engagement workshops aimed at connecting youth with creativity for social good. The launch of PUBLIC in Katanning will also feature The Core, a photographic exhibition by Karim Jabbari inspired by the Great Southern, on Thursday, 2nd of November at the Katanning Public Art Gallery.
