After 31 long years the Katanning Wanderers have won a league Premiership in the Upper Great Southern Football League. Katanning were dominant during the majority of the bout with a 19 point lead at the end of the first quarter that would stick for most of the afternoon in Katanning at Quartermaine Oval. Despite a bit of a scare from Narrogin in late third term Katanning held their own and charged to victory.

The Final score was Katanning 17.14-116 defeating Narrogin 11.7-73

In the rest of the day in Katanning we saw.

D Grade - Katanning 7.6-48 defeated Narrogin 4.3-27

C Grade - Boddington 11.10-76 defeated Narrogin 4.7-31
Reserves - Kukerin/Dumbleyung 10.11-71 defeated Wagin 4.9-33

Well done to all the players, volunteers and supporters on a great UGSFL 2017 season.
