Over 200 grams of Meth Seized

It was a very busy day for police out in North Bannister with a targeted operation taking place on Thursday. A total of 1083 vehicles were stopped over the two nights and seized 205g grams of methamphetamine, 100 grams of cannabis and 9 smoking implements.
Depending on purity the 205g grams of methamphetamine could have a street value of upwards of $100,000. A 27-year-old drifter was arrested and charged with intending to sell or supply methamphetamine.
There was also 2 people charged with exceeding the breathe alcohol limit.
The job was a combined effort from many smaller stations including Narrogin and was deemed successful by local police.
