Sunday Trading Comes To Katanning

It's been long debated but it appears Sunday trading will be coming to Katanning after it passed a motion with a simple majority vote during their last meeting Tuesday. This hugely impacts BKW Co-Op, Target and Woolworths, as the majority of local businesses in town are already able to trade for seven days a week.

Sunday trading has been a very heated topic for both sides of the argument, however despite this when the The Katanning Regional Business Association conducted a survey it received only 11 responses, 80% of those were in support of the seven day trading.

There is no word yet when or if the major retailers will start trading on Sundays at this point.
