A 40 year old Elderslie man was charged with murder late last night in relation to the disappearance of 48 year old Risdon Vale man, Dwayne Robert Davies on 26 May 2017.
A 44 year old Risdon Vale woman was charged on 1 June 2017 with being an accessory after the fact to murder, failing to report a killing and perverting the due course of justice.
Both will appear in the Court of Petty Sessions, Hobart on 2 June 2017.

The charges followed a day of forensic examination at a property at Elderslie and as well as the appeal for information about the movements of two cars linked to the suspected murder of Mr Davies.
Police needed information on a silver 2009 Hyundai Tucson or a 2004 white Nissan Navara thought to be involved on Friday or Saturday in the wider areas of Elderslie, Broadmarsh, Pelham, New Norfolk or Risdon Vale.
Lead Detective Inspector Steve Burk said: “We believe that information about the movements of the vehicles will provide vital evidence about the suspected murder of Mr Davies" and "Any sighting or any detail about them could be relevant,” he said.
