Tas Attorney-General thanks supporters

“make the most of the time I have left”

Tas Attorney-General thanks supporters
Tasmania’s Attorney-General, Vanessa Goodwin, has commented on her "stepping away " from public life and the outpouring of support and love she's received since falling ill.

Dr Goodwin was hospitalised a fortnight ago with an aggressive form of cancer, from which she’s ‘unlikely to recover’ as announced by an emotional Premier Will Hodgman yesterday.

Today's comments from Dr Goodwin came via her Facebook page in which she said “As I step aside from public life, I’m glad to be surrounded by wonderful family, friends and medical professionals'.

The post, which shared Mr Hodgman’s address to Tasmanian Parliament on Dr Goodwin’s diagnosis, concluded by saying 'I intend to make the most of the time I have left. All my love Vanessa”
