Major Crash Investigators from Adelaide are examining the circumstances of a fatal crash at Nangwarry.

 

Just before 8.30am yesterday morning, a 44-year-old man was travelling on Jenkins Terrace.

 

It's believed losing control of his motorcycle and colliding with a fence.

 

The rider was treated at the scene, before being transported to the Mount Gambier Hospital where he died of his injuries.

 

The man’s death takes to state’s road toll to 9 compared to 11 at the same time last year.

 

At around 9.40am on Wednesday, Limestone Coast Police will allege a 31-year-old Mount Gambier man lost control of his car and collided with a parked car on Mark Street, Mount Gambier.

 

Officers have charged the man with a number of offenses, including misuse of a motor vehicle, fail to exchange details, drive unlicensed and drive unregistered and insured.

 

He has been remanded into Police custody, and is expected to face Mount Gambier Magistrate’s Court today.

 

A 17-year-old has walked away from an incident uninjured, after allegedly colliding with a pedestrian railing on Jubilee Highway West.

 

He has been issued an expiation notice for failing to maintain proper control of a motor vehicle.
