Police are concerned for the welfare of a man lost in the Canunda Nation Park in the State’s South East after it’s believed his car broke down yesterday evening.
Police were called to the National Park about 10.15pm Tuesday 12 June after a relative contacted police stating they had received a phone call from the missing man saying he had had car trouble.
Police and SES crews commenced searching for Michael Reid, 37, and his black 4WD Landrover Discovery, Victorian registration 1ED9SX, last night however called off the search around 4.30am Wednesday 13 June.
The search involving police and SES will resume this morning. Anyone who spots Michael Reid or his car is asked to contact the Police Assistance line immediately on 131 444 or Triple Zero (000).
