Police are on the hunt after the willful damage of a pokies machine in Mackay's CBD. Two men were seen fleeing a licensed venue on Wood Street around 1:30 yesterday morning after a loud bang was heard inside. If you have any information call CRIMESTOPPERS

Three men have faced MACKAY Magistrates Court after allegedly travelling across the country with dark web credit cards. Detective Inspector Brendan Smith says they've been on the run for more than two years. The men were arrested following a tip from a local travel agency Monday and are wanted in six states and territories

A special meeting is being held today for MACKAY Regional Council. They'll consider an amended 2018/19 budget at Council Chambers from 11 this morning. They have until the end of the month to pass something before the State Government steps in

Rainforest Scuba in MACKAY is hosting a women's day dive and you won't want to miss out. The annual event raises money for local charities and enables women to experience what lies beneath the surface. Diving Instructor Luana Royale says the dive has experienced success over many years around the region
