Mackay Airport has entered Stage 2 of its Cyclone Plan in response to the advice issued by the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) on Cyclone Debbie.
The Mackay Airport Cyclone Committee has been activated and airport tenants must complete Stage 2 cyclone preparations immediately.
At this stage operations are as normal at Mackay Airport. People with queries about particular flights are advised to contact their airline.
The Mackay Airport Cyclone Committee is monitoring the situation and further advices will be issued according the information provided by the BOM. These will be posted on the Mackay Airport website www.mackayairport.com and on the Mackay Airport Facebook page.
