A Glenella man is recovering in the Mackay Base Hospital after he had to be cut free from a wreckage yesterday morning. His ute rolling near Moranbah on his way to work. The 31 year old's been airlifted to hospital with fractures and minor cuts and abrasions.

Four and a half million dollars’ worth of works will kick off on Koumala-Bolingbroke road next month. The State Government says it's to improve safety after a detour was set up on the road with the Sarina Range closed due to two major slips.
