An early morning burglary in Mackay's CBD has been caught on CCTV. Two thieves stole coins and stamps from a Victoria Street business on Sunday.

A white dual cab Toyota Hilux has been stolen from a street in Eton. The owner had parked it on Hill Street around 2 pm on the first of August and it was discovered missing yesterday. It had been left locked with no car keys nearby and has been distinguished by a baby seat strapped in the back. If you have any information call Crime Stoppers

Drivers are being asked to be wary of roadworks on the Bruce Highway. Commencing today south of Proserpine with works requiring twenty four hour traffic control and single lane closures. They're predicted to remain in place until the end of the month

Ergon Energy has announced their latest recruitment drive.. putting the Call Out for apprentices. They'll be hiring 100 people across Queensland and 30 of those will be in the North. Corporate Communications Manager Emma Oliveri explains where the positions will be based
