Man faces court over hostage charges. The man fronted Mackay Magistrates Court yesterday for allegedly holding a woman hostage. He is said to have forced her to drive him away from the scene of a crash. Obtaining legal representation since his last appearance he entered no plea. He will remain in custody until he reappears later this month
