A car has crashed through a Melbourne house, stopping in the lounge room and sending the 21-year-old driver to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman crashed into the Point Cook home about 3am on Wednesday.
"The 21-year-old driver has been transported to hospital for treatment [for] not serious injuries."
Senior Sergeant Field told the ABC. He said the residents had been evacuated.
"It's being structurally assessed at the moment by local council and they'll make a determination about when the residents can return," she said.
A man and woman sleeping in a second-floor bedroom and were uninjured.
