Collingwood’s reserves have continued a good weekend for the club, touching up Carlton’s twos side to the tune of 130 points.
The Pies dominated the Blues at Preston City Oval, booting more than 30 goals on the way to a 31.15 (201) to 11.5 (71) win.
The Pies shared the goal kicking responsibilities around with Jamie Elliott booting five and fellow AFL listed guns Jordan de Goey and Alex Fasolo four each.
Chris Mayne, Josh Daicos and Jarryd Blair each kicked two apiece as well.
The Pies kicked nine goals in the second quarter to lead by 50 at half time, before piling on eight in the third term to take a 99 point lead into the final change.
They slammed home another nine majors in the final term to really rub the Blues’ noses in it.
The score was Collingwood’s highest ever as a standalone VFL outfit, with 15 individual goalkickers making it a pleasing one for the coaches.
The Pies take on reigning premiers Port Melbourne next Saturday afternoon at Olympic Park.
