In breaking news, a large crane-like drill rig has fallen on top of a Melbourne house.
The incident happened just after 3pm, with the Caterpillar rig toppling over while it was being loaded onto a semi trailer on Woodland Street in Strathmore.
The rig then tipped, with the boom smashing into the roof of the neighbouring property.
The single-storey property's occupants, an elderly couple, were home at the time and suffered shock.
Early reports suggest that no one else has been injured.
Work is now underway to remove the machinery from the house.
WorkSafe are also at the scene and are investigating.
