Flemington police were lost for words when they caught a Ford Falcon with burst tyres towing an overloaded, unregistered boat trailer on Racecourse Road.
The 42-year-old disqualified driver, who also had a young child in the car, was running on rims while pulling an unregistered trailer holding a partially secured boat filled with personal belongings at about 4am on Friday.
The Norlane man is expected to be charged for:
- Driving whilst disqualified
- Driving an unregistered trailer
- Towing a unroadworthy vehicle
- Using an unsafe vehicle and using a vehicle with an insecure load.
A defect notice was also issued for the trailer.
