Fire crews are working to contain a bushfire that has been burning near Gembrook, east of Melbourne.
According to Nine News, firefighters were called to Bunyip State Park this afternoon shortly before 2:30pm.
VicEmergency Management said the blaze was yet to be contained, and is travelling in a southerly direction.
“There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions,” they said in a statement.
With smoke visible up to 80km away, emergency aircraft has joined firefighters on the ground.
