Brunswick's $55 million winning Powerball ticket is currently still unclaimed.
No one seems to know the whereabouts or the winner of the whopping prize, which was now drawn nearly a month ago.
But that hasn't stopped people from trying.
Staff at Brunswick newsagent Scole Lotto and News have reportedly been bombarded with people trying to cash in on the prize, claiming it as their own.
The agency was the one that originally sold the unclaimed winning ticket.
"Most say they lost it or washed it,” employee Jimena Cardozo told News Corp.
Cardozo said their system on testing whether the 'winning' ticket is genuine is pretty foolproof.
“Nobody knows the time the ticket was bought, so that’s how we know if they’re telling the truth or not,” she said.
The prize needs to be claimed within six months before it's sent to the Victorian State Revenue Office, from which the winner can still claim it.
I mean, if no else else wants it...
The triumphant numbers in Powerball draw 1130 were 32, 7, 5, 34, 38 and 11, while the Powerball number was 12.
