An incident involving one patron "acting erratically" forcing Crown Casino to evacuate has been resolved, with no one hurt.
The casino has been cordoned off and evacuated with heavily armed police present.
"They were called there in relation to a male with a backpack acting erratically," acting Commander David Clayton said.
"Police responded, the area was evacuated and a short time later a 55-year-old male was taken into custody."
Crown said in a statement the issue was resolved with the help of Victoria Police.
"An isolated incident occurred at Crown Melbourne involving one patron," Crown said in a statement.
"The issue was resolved peacefully with the assistance of Victorian Police.
"As this is now a police matter. Crown will not be making any further comments."
