Police have charged a 43-year-old man following a fatal car crash in Reservoir on Friday night.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives today charged a Reservoir man with dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing serious injury, driving while disqualified and using an unregistered motor vehicle.
He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on August 11.
The charges relate to a fatal crash between a ute and a car on Plenty Road about 6.30pm.
An 87-year-old Reservoir woman, who was the passenger in the car, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 52-year-old Reservoir woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
