Police Hunt Bald Train Attacker

Police are hunting a bald thug who assaulted a fellow passenger on a city bound train in Mont Albert early last month.

Authorities say the victim, a 30 year-old Forest Hill man, boarded the train at Blackburn on 4 November.

As the train approached Mont Albert Railway Station, without any provocation another man kicked the victim in the face as he was seated just before 6.25pm.

The attacker then left the train at Mont Albert Railway Station.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, in his mid to late 30’s about 177cm tall, with an olive complexion. Investigators believe the offender boarded the train at Mitcham Railway Station, and released these images of the suspect they want to speak with.

Anyone who recognises the man or with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report online.
