Two men have died overnight, after a fatal two car crash near Geelong.
Investigators say a Ford Territory ran a red light at the intersection of the Princes Highway and St Georges Road just before midnight, and collided with a Holden Commodore sedan.
Responders from the CFA, Victoria Police and paramedics all rushed to the scene, but the 30 year old driver of the Territory from CORIO and 46 year old man driving the Commodore couldn't be saved. A third man, who was a passenger in the Territory was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
24 people have now lost their lives on Victoria's roads this year - 2 more than the same time in 2017.
