Sam Reid has been dealt some bad news with a quad injury to sideline him for two months.
Reid hurt his quadriceps tendon in the last quarter of Sydney's win over GWS, with Sydney confirming on Tuesday he would miss at least eight weeks of action.
It's another injury blow for Reid, who has been battling to overcome a hamstring complaint that sidelined him from the first two games.
Sydney defender Lewis Melican also had a quad injury, and will miss around two weeks.
