Melbourne is hosting a festival dedicated to that prince of foods, the humble dim sim, next month.

The Dimmy & Dumping Festival at Welcome To Thornbury in the inner north is a two day eat-a-thon that will bring together some of Melbourne’s best eateries.

The Brunswick Mess Hall, Pierogi Pierogi, Woking Amazing, Momoremelbourne, Curry Up Now and Sparrow’s Philly Cheesesteaks are all confirmed, with the Facebook event promising more.

The event runs across Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th of July, and can even accomodate dogs.

Festivities begin at midday on the Saturday and end at 10pm on the Sunday — plenty of time to try one of everything.

Welcome To Thornbury is at 520 High St, Northcote.
