Melbourne lad Tommy Jackett has fashioned together a business proposition that would likely make every last one of the Shark Tank judges sit up in their seats – oBike Fishing.
Let’s be honest – those pesky, dockless oBikes have been certainly taking a lot of space across the city, with even the company’s marketing team admitting the illegal dumping of the bikes is a major problem that's been “costing a fortune”.
And so spotting a gap in the tourism market, Jackett documented his adventurous trek across inner Melbourne to retrieve seven of the bright yellow bikes from the murky depths of the Yarra River in a spot of weekend fishing.
“This is gonna be hard,” he admits in the clip.
“Plan of attack for this oBike fishing trip is to hit the Yarra from here and then head towards the city.
“We’re covering a lot of ground here, so much chances of catching an oBike are fairly high.”
