Get ready, Victorians - we're in for an absolute stinker this weekend.
Victorian's temperature is set to rise and rise all across the state ahead of an absolutely stinking hot Saturday.
Friday's maximum will reach 32 degrees in Melbourne before Saturday's forecast rises all the way up to a whopping 41 degrees, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
If the mercury gets that high it'll be the hottest day for the summer so far and the warmest day in a year.
Other locations such as Geelong (41), Mildura (43), Bairnsdale (40) and Shepparton (41) are all in for stinkers as well.
It's already prompted suggestions about a reschedule for this weekend's sporting events.
In the A-League, Melbourne Victory host Central Coast down in Geelong at 5:30pm, which if moved could clash with Melbourne City's game with Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park later that night.
Earlier that afternoon is the W-League clash between Melbourne City and Perth Glory, starting at 5:00pm.
The scorching sun and hot winds will be followed, though, by a massive cool change that night.
41 degrees on Saturday will be followed by a much milder 22 degrees on Sunday.
