Two men have been arrested following a number of alleged police rammings in Melbourne's north this afternoon.

Police spotted a stolen Porsche on Edgars Road, Thomastown about 12.20pm.

The vehicle allegedly rammed police a short time later on Grimshaw Street, near Plenty Road, during an attempted intercept.

The vehicle fled the scene and was again approached by police in the underground carpark of a Preston shopping centre.

The Porsche allegedly rammed three units at the Murray Road complex, before the occupants fled from the vehicle.

OC spray was deployed and the men were arrested.

There were no injuries to members.

Two men, a 26-year-old from Epping and a 27-year-old from Preston, are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
