Drug-drivers have kept Port Macquarie police busy during a state-wide crackdown overnight.

Officers undertaking random breath and drug tests during Operation Compliance 3, mainly focused on targeting mobile phone use, seat belt offences and vehicle defects.

A 25-year-old man's yet to be charged, as police say he tested positive for drugs.

His 25-year-old female and 22-year-old male passengers will hit Port Macquarie Court this morning for allegedly possessing the drug ‘ice’.

They've been refused bail.

While a 41-year-old man's behind bars ahead of court this morning, accused of driving with drugs in his system and holding onto items stolen from a petrol station.

Police report he’s on parole.
