A man's spent last night in a jail cell, after Kempsey police found him hiding under a bed to avoid arrest over alleged domestic violence offences.
Officers cuffed the 28-year-old at a Frederickton house after he evaded them twice yesterday.
In one of the incidents, he escaped during a foot pursuit through the town.
He's been charged with breach apprehended domestic violence order, two counts of intimidation, and malicious damage.
The accused will front the Port Macquarie Local Court today.
