Mid North Coast to swelter from today
Fire bans, health advice issued.
The Mid North Coast is set for a sweltering Wednesday, with the BOM predicting our region to be the hardest hit by a severe heatwave.
The weather service has said it expects temperatures reaching the high thirties across the north coast from tomorrow until Friday.
It's prompted Surf Lifesavers to issue a warning to holidaymakers along the North Coast - To be aware of the signs of heat stress and seek medical attention from lifesavers if unwell.
The expected high temperatures have prompted the Rural Fire service to give today a Very High fire danger rating, and the Mid Coast Rural Fire District has suspended all fire permits for today.
