Mid North Coast Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a house fire at 3 Girraween Road, Port Macquarie.


About 5am on Monday, a Utility vehicle parked outside the premises was allegedly set alight. The vehicle has rolled into two other vehicles in the vicinity 
before coming to rest in the garage area.


The fire spread to the premises, causing significant damage to the property and the two vehicles nearby. No persons were injured as a result of the incident.


Port Macquarie Fire Brigade were called to attend, they extinguished the flames by 5.15am. A crime scene was declared, it's currently being held by police.


The fire and circumstances surrounding it are considered suspicious and police, along with Detectives and Forensic Services Police are conducting inquiries. 
Investigations are ongoing.


Any witnesses or persons with information that have not yet been identified by police are asked to call PMQ PS or Crime Stoppers.
