Rates are set to go on the up for Port Macquarie-Hastings property owners.
The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal has given council the okay to increase current fees by 5.39% for the upcoming 2017-18 financial year.
That'll be the permanent base for rates in future.
The change will see households fork out an extra $17 dollars, $56 for businesses, while farmers will pay a $28 more per year.
The cash is going towards better roads for the local government area, with further maintenance also on the cards.
