A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, following a crash occurring near Lake Innes on Saturday.

 

The single vehicle crash occurred on Cowarra Access road at about 5pm, the injured 53 year old man discovered by a passing vehicle.

 

Emergency services were alerted to the incident and he was treated at the scene, before being airlifted to Port Macquarie hospital.

 

He was was later transferred to John Hunter Hospital.

 

The man remains in a serious but stable condition, having injuries to his arms, legs and head.

 

Police spent some time at the scene to examine possible causes of the incident.
