Trio charged over alleged drug debt bashing

Police have arrested three women, accused of storming a Port Macquarie home and bashing a man over a drug debt.

It's alleged midday yesterday the trio - aged 22, 23, and 27-years-old - broke into a Hollingsworth Street address and assaulted the 28-year-old resident.

He suffered facial swelling, a black eye and scratches to his torso.

Police say the 22-year-old female reportedly owned up to dealing out 15 grams of cannabis.

They're up against offences including aggravated break and enter, fronting Port Macquarie court on June 28.
