Police have shockingly charged a 12-year-old girl with drug and property offences during a police raid on a home at Helensvale, on the Gold Coast.

She was one of seven people charged after officers executed a search warrant on a residence in Glenwater Cresent on Wednesday morning, allegedly finding a quantity of cash, drugs and other items of property.

The 12-year-old Helensvale girl has been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drug and possession of property suspected having been used in the commission of a drug offence.

While a 52-year-old Helensvale man is charged with one count each of possess dangerous drug schedule 1, possess dangerous drug, possess utensil, possession of property suspected having been used in the commission of a drug offence, possession of tainted property.

A 27-year-old Jimbomba man has been charged with possession of explosive (ammunition), breach of bail, contravene domestic violence order, possessing dangerous drug, possession of property suspected having been used in the commission of a drug offence, unlawful possession of restricted drugs and fail dispose of syringe.

A 32-year-old Helensvale woman has been charged with one count each of possess dangerous drug schedule 1, possess dangerous drug, possess utensil, possession of property suspected having been used in the commission of a drug offence and possession of tainted property.

A 17-year-old man and 19-year-old woman, both from Helensvale has been charged with one count each of possession of utensil and possession of dangerous drugs.

A 20-year-old Helensvale woman has been charged with been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of restricted drugs and one count each of possession of property suspected having been used in the commission of a drug offence and fail dispose of syringe.
