Just hours after the Mazda 6 took out the Judges' Choice award at the Australia's Best Cars conference... the car maker's put out a major recall notice.

More than 120,000 Mazda 2, 3 and 6s are affected...

According to the recall notice, the height adjustment lever on the driver's side could crack or completely snap, causing the seat to make rattling noises before breaking away and moving out of position.

Mazda says affected owners will get a letter in the mail, urging them to get their car inspected and repaired as soon as possible.
